About Us
Caracalas Travel is a leisure travel agency founded in 1995 by Marlene and Terry Caracalas. They started the business in the Bay Area of Northern California, relocated to the California Gold Country in 2000, and finally in 2007 settled in Canton, GA, gateway to the beautiful North Georgia mountains. In 2011, Marlene and Terry’s son Mike Caracalas joined the company. After a 17-year career in corporate America, Mike decided it was time to join the family business. Mike resides in Lewisville, TX, in a fantastic golf course community just north of Dallas.
We specialize in cruises, group travel, independent and escorted tours, golf vacations, and adventure travel. Terry grew up in Greece (we still have family living there), so our family has a special connection there. We have travelled extensively in Greece and have many relationships with local suppliers and tour operators. We love to share our passion for Greece and can create a wonderful experience for you in this beautiful country.
